Honduras V: Vamos al Aeropuerto.

Away we go. Jared and I sat in the back of one of the church vans as Chuck drove us to the airport. We played a very literal game of telephone after realizing we could hear nothing from the back of the van. This is a good time to get some sleep.

We made it into Honduras in a rather lack luster manner. There were no major hiccups and the journey was pleasant. We went directly to Casa de Esperanza to play with the kids for a few hours.

We arrived home to find the campus was out of water. No showers tonight, but no big deal. We hung out, joked and played with Haley. Some songs from Frozen may have been sung... Okay, all the songs from Frozen were sung.

Devotion for tonight consisted of a quick orientation by Nicole and Missionay words of encouragement by Matt. Later on Jared, Gordon, Nelson and I played a game of 42. We won't talk about the results of the game.

I have learned that a lot of the people we worked with in the past are no longer around. Chino, Daniel and Dorian are doing other things for various reasons. So much can change in the course of a year. Inspite of the shortage in personel, Matt, Nicole and Terri are doing a great job with their ministries. They continue to be full of fire.

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."- Phillipians 1:6
